Steel Division 2 Trainer 1.0.0
by Gutwormy
==============================

An in-game trainer for Steel Division 2 (single-player: skirmish, historical
battles and the Army General campaign). Press Insert in the game to open it.
There is no extra program to run.

WHAT YOU NEED
-------------
- Steel Division 2 on Windows 10 or 11. Made and tested on game build 168061
(the current version, Sept 2025). Other versions work wherever the trainer
finds what each feature needs; anything it cannot find is greyed out, and
  SD2Trainer.log names it.
- Nothing else to install.

HOW TO INSTALL
--------------
1. Close the game.

2. Open the game's folder: right-click Steel Division 2 in your Steam Library,
then choose Manage > Browse local files. You are in the right place if you
   can see SteelDivision2.exe.

3. Copy everything from this download into that folder:
       XINPUT9_1_0.dll
       SD2Trainer (the whole folder)

4. Start the game, open a battle or the Army General map and press Insert.

FEATURES (default keys)
-----------------------
Battle (main panel):
  Num 1 God Mode
Your units take no damage and are never suppressed or routed. Allies
         and enemies are not affected.
  Num 2 Unlimited Ammo
Every weapon of your units stays full of ammunition. Allies and
         enemies are not affected.
  Num 3 No Reload
Your infantry, tanks, guns, rocket launchers and aircraft skip the
reload between salvos and the wait between shots, and fire at the
fastest rate the game can run as soon as they are aimed. Ammo is
still used unless Unlimited Ammo is on. Only your own units; allies,
enemies and the game's unit data are untouched.
  Num 4 Unlimited Fuel
Your vehicles and planes never run out of fuel, so planes stay over
the battlefield. Allies and enemies are not affected.
  Num 5 Unlimited Requisition
Your Requisition is held at 99,999, so you can buy any card.
Switching off puts the normal maximum back; the game brings the
amount down to it at its next change.
  Num 6 Unlimited Units
Buying a unit does not use up its card: your deck cards never run out
         of units.
  Num 7 Unlock All Phases
The phase B and C cards of your deck can be bought at once. This
lasts for the rest of the battle.
  Num 8 Reveal Map
The fog of war is lifted for you: every enemy unit shows on the map
and the minimap, with its icon. Switching off brings the fog back.
  Num 9 One-Hit Kills
Every hit by your units destroys the enemy unit it hits.
  Num 0 Game Speed
         Steps the game speed x1, x2, x4, x8. Single-player only; the key
         steps to the next speed.
  Num . Freeze Match Clock
Stops the match clock and the phase clock, so the battle never runs
out of time and the next phase waits.
  - Selected Units
Heal, Refill (ammunition and fuel) or Max Vet for the units you have
selected in the game. Max Vet leaves units that cannot gain
         experience as they are.

Spawn Menu (its own page):
Opens the Spawn page: any unit of any nation, 1 to 20 at a time, for you or
an AI player, at the centre of your view or at the reinforcement point.
Search by name, pick a side (All, Allies, Axis) and a nation, then a
category tab (Recon, Infantry, Tank, Support, Anti-tank, Anti-air,
Artillery, Air, Defense). Set the amount, the owner, where (Camera or
Reinforcement) and the veterancy (Base or Max), then Spawn on a row. Planes
arrive in flight. Delete Unit removes the units you have selected in the
game, any side. Spawned and deleted units are not in replays.

Army General page (on the strategic campaign map):
  - Unlimited Action Points
Your battlegroups never run out of action points on the strategic
         map.
  - Always Supplied
Your battlegroups stay in supply on the strategic map, even when they
         are cut off.
  - Instant AI Turn
The AI's turns on the strategic map play at x16; your own turn goes
back to your Game Speed choice.
  - Restore Battlegroup
Brings back the destroyed and disabled units of the battlegroup you
have selected on the strategic map. Your own battlegroups only, on
your turn: click Restore, then Confirm.

Keys: click a key box on a switch's row, then press the new key (Esc cancels).
A key another switch had moves to that switch. The Army General switches have
no key until you give them one. "Hotkeys: On/Off" at the top of the panel
turns all switch keys off or on. Keys are saved in SD2Trainer\SD2Trainer.ini.

GOOD TO KNOW
------------
- Single-player only. In multiplayer the trainer stays off, so the game cannot
go out of sync and other players are never affected.
- Back up your Army General saves first. Restored battlegroups, and anything a
switch holds when you save, stay in the save.
- Cheats can unlock Steam achievements early.
- Switches start Off at every launch. The game keeps running while the panel
is open; Esc closes it; drag its title to move it. Hover a feature name for
  an explanation.
- The battle switches work in battles (also those launched from the Army
General map); the Army General switches work on the strategic map.

HOW TO UNINSTALL
----------------
Close the game, then delete these two from the game's folder:
XINPUT9_1_0.dll and SD2Trainer (the whole folder)
The trainer does not change any game files.

TROUBLESHOOTING
---------------
- Insert does nothing: check that XINPUT9_1_0.dll and the SD2Trainer folder
  are both next to SteelDivision2.exe.
- A row says "Unavailable - check log": your version of the game differs
there. Send SD2Trainer.log and SD2Trainer.previous.log (from the SD2Trainer
folder); the trainer needs a new search for that version.
- Antivirus removed a file: this is a false positive. Add the game folder as
an exception and copy the file again. The trainer does not connect to the
internet and only runs inside the game.
- When reporting a problem, include SD2Trainer.log and
  SD2Trainer.previous.log.
